Charity Horizons is proud to be partnering with a respected not-for-profit client to recruit a temporary but critical role within their Central Services team. The Payroll Officer role is offered on a six month contract and presents a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-performing and values-led organisation, delivering essential payroll services to over 700 employees.
The Role
In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and calculating monthly payrolls, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all statutory and organisational requirements. You’ll handle pension contributions, statutory deductions, expenses, and HMRC submissions (including P11Ds and RTI).
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for individuals who are:
- Experienced in end-to-end payroll processing using computerised systems.
- Knowledgeable in UK payroll legislation and HMRC procedures.
- Confident with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Focused on accuracy and detail.
- Professional, discreet, and committed to delivering a high-quality service.
